About The Role

CMS Distribution is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to spearhead business transformation and process improvement initiatives across the Group. In this strategic role, you will lead a team of Business Analysts, working closely with stakeholders at all levels, including technology teams and programme leaders. Your primary responsibility will be to identify opportunities for change, optimise business processes, and deliver projects that enhance operational performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in business analysis, SAP systems, and people leadership to contribute to major transformation programmes, acquisitions, and system integration projects. You will have a direct impact on shaping the future ways of working within the organisation, ensuring technology solutions provide measurable business value, and supporting the company's growth trajectory.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in a Business Analyst role, including leadership and team development
  • Proven track record of delivering business transformation, process improvement, and change initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP systems, including supporting or configuring business processes
  • Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and translating business needs into practical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on business outcomes
  • Industry-recognised Business Analysis or Business Process qualification (desirable)
  • Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments (desirable)
  • Exposure to ERP implementation, migration, or integration projects (desirable)
  • Experience supporting post-acquisition integration projects and organisational change programmes (desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Business Analysts, ensuring delivery of high-quality analysis services across the Group
  • Partner with stakeholders at all levels to identify business challenges, define requirements, and develop effective solutions
  • Support strategic business transformation projects, including process optimisation, ERP enhancements, acquisitions, and system integrations
  • Drive business process re-engineering initiatives and digital transformation programmes to improve operational efficiency
  • Champion best practices in business analysis methodologies, tools, and standards throughout the organisation
  • Collaborate closely with IT, programme teams, and business leaders to ensure solutions align with organisational goals and deliver measurable benefits
  • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and stakeholder engagement activities to promote alignment and change adoption
  • Support testing and implementation activities to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and effectively embedded within the business
