The Opportunity

Our client is embarking on a major IT and technology transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering strategic change across the organisation.

Working as part of a wider transformation team, you will collaborate with stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists to understand business needs, define requirements, support solution design and ensure successful delivery of technology and business change initiatives. This is a significant programme of work involving platform development, migration activities and wider business transformation projects.

The Role

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business and technology, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, documented and translated into effective solutions.

You'll work across multiple workstreams, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to analyse processes, identify improvements and support the successful delivery of transformational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse and document business requirements through workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, SMEs and technical teams to define and validate requirements.
  • Produce high-quality business requirements documents, process maps, user stories and functional specifications.
  • Analyse current and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
  • Support platform development initiatives by ensuring business requirements are clearly defined and understood.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions across the organisation.
  • Support data and system migration activities, ensuring business impacts and requirements are fully understood.
  • Identify process gaps, risks, dependencies and delivery challenges.
  • Contribute to solution design discussions and ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives.
  • Support testing activities, including requirements traceability, user acceptance testing and business sign-off.
  • Assist with change management and business readiness activities.
  • Work collaboratively across multiple projects and workstreams within a wider transformation programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
