Job Opportunity

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Analyst (middle/senior) based in United Kingdom.

Join a remote-first team shaping innovative software solutions within the financial technology sector. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical execution by translating complex requirements into scalable product solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, you will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of products that serve businesses across a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem. You'll have the opportunity to influence product strategy, optimize business processes, and support successful integrations while collaborating in an agile, international environment. This position is ideal for a proactive, analytical professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, driving product innovation, and making a measurable impact.

Accountabilities

  • Conduct detailed business analysis to support the development and enhancement of digital products and fintech solutions.
  • Gather, analyze, prioritize, and document business and product requirements from stakeholders, clients, and focus groups.
  • Develop comprehensive user stories, use cases, functional specifications, process flows, and technical documentation.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Collaborate with development, product, sales, operations, and engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery and feature implementation.
  • Support third-party API and SDK integrations by coordinating with technical teams and assisting throughout implementation.
  • Participate in solution testing, troubleshooting, product launches, and post-deployment monitoring to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Prepare integration guides, user manuals, training materials, and knowledge-sharing documentation while delivering product demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, or in a similar product-focused role.
  • Experience working in B2B and/or B2C software environments, preferably within fintech or SaaS industries.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, project management principles, and Agile frameworks.
  • Experience creating user stories, process diagrams, wireframes, mockups, and functional specifications using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, UML, and Figma.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, with basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience supporting API integrations and collaborating with technical teams on complex software implementations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, collaborative environment.
  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency or higher.
