Business Analyst
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join 2plan and play a key role in delivering business change and technology improvement initiatives across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders at all levels, you will be responsible for identifying, analysing and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for both technology and operational teams. Acting as the bridge between business objectives and solutions, you will support the successful delivery of change projects by analysing processes, systems and services, ensuring improvements drive efficiency, enhance client outcomes and align with wider business goals. You will also work closely with the Group Change teams to promote consistency, best practice and effective delivery across the organisation.
This is a hybrid role, based 3 days a week from the Leeds office.
The benefits:
- Salary - Up to £54,000
- Bonus scheme - on target bonus - 7.5%

Key Accountabilities:
- Lead business and systems analysis across a range of change and IT improvement projects within 2plan.
- Gather, challenge and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops, interviews and feedback sessions.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for technology and delivery teams.
- Analyse processes, workflows and data to identify opportunities for operational and technology improvements.
- Produce high-quality project documentation, including process maps, use cases, requirements and governance artefacts.
- Act as the key link between business stakeholders, technology teams, third-party suppliers and testing teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Support end-to-end change initiatives, including process redesign, implementation, testing, training and benefits realisation.

What will you need to succeed?
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Experience within the financial services industry is advantageous
- Proven experience in business and systems analysis, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau)
- Relevant qualifications such as Lean Six Sigma are advantageous
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies is advantageous
Knowledge:
- Understanding of business process analysis and business process modelling/re-engineering
- Understanding of structured analysis and project management methodologies
- Previous experience of designing new processes and their validation, understanding drivers for change and articulating high level business/operational/IT requirements
- Wealth management, mortgage, and protection services knowledge is advantageous
Skills and Competencies:
- Analytical Thinking and Quantitative Skills: Ability to analyse complex data and derive meaningful insights
- Structured: Methodical and structured approach to requirements analysis and process modelling/ re-engineering
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutions and attention to detail
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business environments and priorities.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Facilitation skills: Able to ensure wide understanding and buy-in, able to simplify complexity for wider understanding
