Role: Business Analyst / Project Manager
Sector: AI & Automation
Location: Chelmsford (2 days in office per week)
A fast-growing AI automation start-up is helping recruitment firms, software companies, and HR teams streamline and automate back- and mid-office operations. Their platform is saving clients significant time and cost, and demand is accelerating fast - including a new US office and a 17% ARR uplift last month alone.
They’re now expanding their Implementation Project Management team and looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to support new client onboarding and deliver smooth, high-quality software implementations.
The Role
You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of AI & automation projects, ensuring clients get a seamless implementation experience. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with customers, translate business needs into clear technical requirements, and manage projects through to testing and handover.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
