Business Analyst (Commoditiy Trading) | Contract London (Hybrid)

Up to £900/day Inside IR35

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a global commodities trading organisation, supporting a major cross-ETRM and multi-commodity data integration programme. You'll work closely with trading, operations, technology and back-office teams to deliver data and process integration into a leading automation platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business, process and data requirements.
  • Translate requirements into clear, actionable development tasks for engineering teams.
  • Analyse data flows, mappings and integration requirements across multiple ETRM platforms.
  • Drive process standardisation, automation and operational improvements.
  • Facilitate workshops and manage stakeholders across global business units.
  • Support testing, UAT and business change activities.

Essential Experience

  • Proven Business Analyst experience within commodities trading.
  • Strong knowledge of commodity trading operations, trade lifecycle and data flows.
  • Experience working on ETRM, data integration or systems transformation programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
