About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Project Manager to join our dynamic team at DWP Digital. In this role, you will be responsible for leading complex digital projects from initiation through to successful delivery, ensuring they meet scope, time, quality, and budget requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive project success and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing digital transformation initiatives within a government or large enterprise setting.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a relevant bachelor’s degree in project management, information technology, or a related field. Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications are highly desirable. Extensive experience in managing digital projects, preferably within the public sector, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to navigate complex organizational structures, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are crucial. Familiarity with government digital standards and policies will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities
As a Digital Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation
- Managing project risks, issues, and changes
- Monitoring progress and providing regular updates to senior management
- Facilitating communication among project teams
- Ensuring adherence to governance frameworks
- Promoting best practices in project management
- Overseeing procurement processes
- Managing vendor relationships
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within project teams
