Job Title: Pega Certified Business Analyst (PCBA)
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Pega Certified Business Analyst (PCBA) to support the delivery of complex digital transformation and workflow automation programmes. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, analysed, and translated into scalable Pega solutions.
Working within a security-cleared environment, you will engage with senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and support Agile delivery teams to implement business-critical Pega applications.
Security Clearance
- Must hold current SC Clearance (or be eligible and willing to undergo clearance)
- Experience working within secure government, defence, national security, or regulated public-sector environments is essential
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into Pega-based process and case management solutions
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
- Produce process maps, business process models, and functional specifications
- Work closely with Pega System Architects, Developers, Testers, and Product Owners
- Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business readiness activities
- Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices and delivery standards

Essential Skills & Experience
- Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA) or current Pega Certified Business Analyst accreditation
- Demonstrable experience delivering Pega projects in Agile environments
- Strong knowledge of:

- Process Modelling
- Experience working within security-cleared or highly regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills

- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with UK Government departments or public-sector organisations
- Knowledge of GDS standards and government delivery frameworks
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and release management processes
- Experience of business change and transformation programmes
- Understanding of data governance, information assurance, and cyber security principles

Qualifications
- Pega Certified Business Architect (CPBA) or equivalent current Pega certification
- Business Analysis qualification (BCS, IIBA, or equivalent) desirable
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
