Job Description

The Business Analyst translates business needs, processes, and stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable requirements that support product delivery.

Working closely with Product Managers and the business, the Business Analyst provides detailed analysis, documentation, and requirement structures. The role translates product vision, priorities, and objectives into well-defined features, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

The Business Analyst acts as the bridge between product strategy and engineering execution, providing engineering teams with the context, clarity, and detail required to determine how solutions should be delivered. The role owns the quality and clarity of requirements and supports decision-making through structured analysis and data.

Assignment Objective

  • Translate business needs, stakeholder requirements, business processes, product vision, priorities, and objectives into clear and testable requirements, features, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide structured analysis, documentation, and requirement clarity throughout product delivery, ensuring that delivered solutions align with agreed business requirements and intended outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis and Requirements Management
    • Elicit and document business needs, stakeholder requirements, business process requirements, and pain points through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process analysis, data analysis, and observation.
    • Translate product vision, objectives, and priorities into clear features, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
    • Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with product goals and business outcomes.
    • Define and document current-state and future-state business processes.
    • Document scope, assumptions, dependencies, and success criteria.
    • Support Minimum Viable Product definition by refining and structuring requirements within the agreed product direction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
