About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing logistics organisation currently undergoing an exciting period of business-wide transformation and change.
They are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner to work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, you will help design and execute the broader cross-business technology vision while driving structured change at an operational, day-to-day level.
This is a highly business-facing position with a strong focus on engaging end-users, analysing operational workflows and converting business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder engagement & elicitation: Conduct interviews, workshops and discovery sessions with business users across Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to understand core processes and workflows.
- Requirements & backlog management: Gather, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements (BRDs, user stories, process maps). Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain and refine software backlogs.
- Process mapping & optimisation: Map "as-is" processes, design efficient "to-be" workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and drive standardisation across the business.
- Systems & data initiatives: Collaborate with technical and data teams to support ERP implementations/optimisations, map data flows and unlock value from business data.
- Change & governance: Support the transition from an informal environment to a more structured, process-driven model while embedding BA best practices.
- Testing & delivery: Help plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders to ensure solutions deliver clear business outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
