Synechron Business Analyst Opportunity

Synechron is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work on an engagement to design and implement an enterprise Product Reference Data capability. This is a strategic initiative to establish consistent, governed product definitions, hierarchies, and relationships across global operations.

Role

The Senior Business Analyst will translate business requirements into a validated, implementation-ready Product Reference Data model. Working closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and technical teams, you will shape the model through discovery, challenge, and validation—not simply document requirements.

  • Lead discovery across product governance, reference data, and operational systems
  • Capture business, functional, and non-functional requirements, use cases, and user scenarios
  • Define authoritative product terminology, taxonomies, hierarchies, and business glossary content
  • Build requirements traceability and validate conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Develop use-case catalogues covering product creation, maintenance, search, reporting, and processing
  • Identify gaps, edge cases, critical data elements, quality requirements, and governance needs
  • Facilitate workshops with business SMEs, data teams, system owners, and architecture stakeholders
  • Define integration requirements for data sources and consumers
  • Present recommendations to design authorities and governance forums
  • Challenge assumptions, resolve conflicting requirements, and assess implementation feasibility

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
