Hays are working in partnership with a local council to recruit two Business Analysts on interim contracts. These roles will play a pivotal part in shaping how the organisation operates in the future.

Working within a high-profile organisation design and transformation programme, you will provide critical insight and analysis to support the development and implementation of a new operating model. This will include contributing to the design and establishment of functions across systems, processes, and ways of working.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation, participating in facilitated workshops led by an Organisation Design Lead. You will help identify current challenges, uncover opportunities for improvement, and translate requirements into clear, actionable outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale, meaningful change, helping to build a more effective, efficient, and future-ready organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
