RegEdge is a global boutique consulting firm dedicated to assisting financial institutions in navigating complex regulatory landscapes. Our team is comprised of former Big 4 consulting and industry professionals with extensive experience in capital markets. We have teams based in New York (USA), London (UK) and multiple locations in India.
The Opportunity
RegEdge is seeking Transaction Monitoring professionals with hands-on experience across AML, Transaction Monitoring, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crime Transformation and investigative platforms including Quantexa. The role supports regulatory programmes across investment banks, broker-dealers and financial institutions, combining business analysis and compliance advisory.
The successful candidate will contribute across transaction monitoring, regulatory reporting, data governance, control frameworks, model governance and regulatory remediation initiatives on Quantexa platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Transaction Monitoring and Financial Crime transformation engagements.
- Perform alert investigations, scenario assessment, threshold tuning, above-the-line/below-the-line testing and SAR/STR escalation support.
- Apply Quantexa where applicable for entity resolution, network analysis and investigation workflows while also supporting broader regulatory technology platforms.
- Deliver regulatory change initiatives covering AML, BSA/AML, FCA/PRA, EU AMLD, OFAC and other applicable financial crime regulations.
- Gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, prepare BRDs/FRDs, user stories and operating models.
- Support end-to-end SDLC including requirements, solution design, SIT/UAT, defect management and production readiness.
- Assess data lineage, data quality, governance and critical data elements supporting compliance platforms.
- Prepare governance packs, RAID logs, steering committee updates and executive reporting.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Technology, Risk and Internal Audit stakeholders.
- Contribute to RFPs, proposals, solution design and mentoring of junior consultants.

Desired Regulatory Compliance Experience
- AML, KYC, Customer Due Diligence, Enhanced Due Diligence
- Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening and Financial Crime Operations
- Regulatory Change and Compliance Transformation
- Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end trade life cycle across multiple asset classes—including Equities, Fixed Income, and OTC Derivatives (credit and rates)—with emphasis on regulatory compliance, risk controls, and operational transparency
- Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC/Dodd-Frank, SFTR, Basel III, BCBS239 (desirable), alongside AML regulations
- Risk Assessments, Control Frameworks, Data Governance and Regulatory Reporting

Experience with Quantexa (Must Have)
Technical Skills
- Quantexa (Must Have), SQL, Spark Scala, DAGS, Big Data, Excel, Power BI, JIRA, Confluence, Agile/Waterfall, Data Analysis, Testing & QA.
