We're supporting a leading global investment bank seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst to join its Equities Regulatory Reporting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering regulatory change and strategic reporting initiatives across the Equities business.

This role requires a strong combination of regulatory reporting expertise, business analysis skills, and a deep understanding of equities products and trading workflows. You will work closely with Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Technology, Risk and Regulatory Reporting teams to translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable business and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities for regulatory reporting change initiatives across Equities.
  • Analyse and interpret regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business processes, data and technology.
  • Gather, document and validate business requirements, functional specifications and process flows.
  • Work with Front Office and Technology teams to ensure accurate capture, enrichment and reporting of Equities transactions.
  • Support implementation and change programmes relating to regulations such as MiFID II/MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR and other global transaction reporting requirements.
  • Conduct data lineage and gap analysis across front-to-back Equities trading and reporting processes.
  • Define reporting requirements, data mappings, controls and reconciliation processes.
  • Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, regulatory SMEs and development teams.
  • Support UAT planning, test scenario definition, execution and defect management.
  • Investigate reporting issues and data-quality breaks, identifying root causes and coordinating remediation.
  • Support regulatory audits, controls and governance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and provide clear status updates on project delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
