The Company

We are delighted to be supporting a well-established, successful and highly regarded organisation operating within the UK healthcare services sector in the recruitment of an experienced Business Analyst. With a strong reputation for customer service, innovation and quality, the organisation continues to invest in its people, processes and technology as part of an ongoing programme of growth and transformation. You will play an important role in strengthening business intelligence, improving the quality of management information and ensuring that data is translated into meaningful, commercially relevant insights.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Business Analyst will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining high-quality business intelligence reporting, with a particular emphasis on Power BI, data integrity and effective visualisation. This is not simply a reporting or dashboard development position. You'll be expected to understand the underlying data, investigate anomalies, question assumptions and present findings in a clear, engaging and persuasive manner. Working closely with senior management, stakeholders, and customers across the organisation, you'll help improve the accessibility, reliability and commercial value of business-critical information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting suites, providing clear and actionable business insights.
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks and opportunities for operational and commercial improvement.
  • Validate and reconcile information across multiple data sources, ensuring consistency, accuracy and reliability.
  • Investigate discrepancies between reports and underlying source data, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate improvements.
  • Review existing reporting capabilities, engaging with stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify opportunities to improve functionality and presentation.
  • Produce visually compelling reports and presentations that communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the development and implementation of robust data governance policies and reporting controls.
  • Translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions, managing delivery timelines and competing stakeholder priorities.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and analytical requests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Act as a trusted business partner, providing insight, constructive challenge and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
