Business Analyst / Functional Consultant – Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C
Location: London – 2–3 days per week onsite
Contract: 6 months
Rate: £400–£500 per day, inside IR35
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience delivering Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C implementations to join a leading consultancy working with a major retail client.
The successful candidate will bridge business and technical teams, translating retail and e-commerce requirements into effective SFCC solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
- Lead stakeholder workshops and translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Support the design and delivery of SFCC B2C solutions.
- Define customer journeys and e-commerce processes across catalogue, pricing, promotions, basket, checkout, payments, orders and fulfilment.
- Work closely with architects, developers and QA teams throughout delivery.
- Support SIT, UAT, functional testing and defect resolution.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, dependencies, risks and requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including refinement, planning, demos and retrospectives.

Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant within e-commerce or retail.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C, ideally including an end-to-end implementation.
- Strong understanding of B2C e-commerce processes and customer journeys.
- Experience with requirements gathering, user stories and functional specifications.
- Experience with API/system integrations and third-party e-commerce platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience supporting SIT/UAT and defect management.
