Business Analyst - Sanctions & Transaction Monitoring (TM) Systems Tester – Contract
Contract: 3–6 months

Day rate - £400 per day

Financial Crime Data & MI Analyst
Turn financial crime data into clear dashboards, meaningful insight and actionable management information.
We’re looking for a Financial Crime Data & MI Analyst with strong experience gathering business requirements and delivering dashboards and reporting. You’ll work closely with Financial Crime stakeholders and technical teams to define what the business needs, identify the right data and turn it into useful outputs.

What you’ll do
- Gather and define MI, data and reporting requirements from Financial Crime stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into dashboards, reports and actionable insight.
- Define relevant metrics and KPIs to support oversight and decision-making.
- Connect business stakeholders with technical and data teams to deliver effective reporting.
- Ensure outputs are accurate, reliable and supported by appropriate data quality checks and controls.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in financial crime, such as AML, KYC, sanctions, fraud or transaction monitoring.
- A strong track record delivering data, MI and reporting within that environment.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating them into practical reporting solutions.
- Strong dashboard delivery experience using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar.
- The ability to communicate clearly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- An understanding of data quality, reporting controls and KPI definitions.
- Technical knowledge of SQL, data modelling or data transformation would be valuable.
