Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Contractor to support the delivery of business and technology transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, project teams, and technical resources to gather, analyse, and document requirements, define business processes, and support the successful implementation of solutions.
The role requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements while operating in an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, validate, and document business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process-mapping sessions to understand current and future-state business processes.
- Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and business cases.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, Test Teams, and Project Managers to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Agile delivery activities.
- Conduct process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiencies.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and solution validation activities.
- Perform data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and business outcomes.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates.
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and strategic goals.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within large-scale business or technology transformation programmes.
- Strong requirements gathering and analysis experience.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
- Experience creating user stories, process flows, business requirements documents, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong documentation and facilitation skills.
- Experience supporting testing and business readiness activities.
