Role: Business Analyst – Securities Lending & Triparty
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract – 6 Months
Location: Hybrid
Role Overview:
Delta Capita is supporting a strategic transformation programme for a leading global financial markets organisation within the Securities Finance space. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Securities Lending Borrowing (SBL) and Triparty domain expertise to support the delivery of multiple front-to-back business and technology initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Product, Technology and Business stakeholders to gather requirements, define future-state processes and support the implementation of key platform enhancements and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements
- Produce functional specifications, process flows and business documentation
- Conduct current state and target state analysis
- Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders
- Support solution design and delivery across securities finance workflows
- Coordinate and support UAT activities, defect management and production releases
- Assist with data migration, onboarding and process automation initiatives
- Work closely with development, testing and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong Business Analysis experience within Capital Markets
- Deep understanding of Securities Lending & Borrowing (SBL) processes
- Experience covering the full securities lending lifecycle including:
- Loans
- Returns
- Recalls
- Reallocations
- Settlements
- Trade booking
- Strong Triparty collateral management knowledge
- Experience with post-trade processing and operational workflows
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging and settlements
- Experience working on data migration and systems implementation projects
- Demonstrated experience supporting UAT and business change initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable Experience:
- Exposure to EquiLend, Pirum, Broadridge or similar Securities Finance platforms
- Corporate Actions experience within Securities Finance
- Collateral Management or Repo domain knowledge
- Exposure to settlement monitoring, exposure management and reconciliation processes
- Experience working within investment banks, custodians or securities finance providers
Ideal Candidate:
We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within Securities Finance teams at investment banks, custodians, market infrastructure providers or financial technology organisations, delivering change initiatives across Securities Lending, Triparty and Post-Trade services.

This is a FTC/Contract position located in London with hybrid working. As the selection and interview process is ongoing, please submit your application in English as soon as possible, if your profile is selected, a member of our team will contact you within 4 weeks. For this role, a valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.
Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
