About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Banking Advisory Practice. This role involves working on a diverse range of digital transformation and strategic change projects for our banking clients, primarily based in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of projects that enhance banking operations and customer experiences. This position requires a deep understanding of banking processes, regulatory requirements, and digital strategies. The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, develop customer journey maps, and support the implementation of innovative solutions. The role offers an excellent opportunity to influence industry best practices and contribute to transformative initiatives in the financial services sector.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking industry
- Proven experience working on-site with UK-based banking clients, particularly in London
- Knowledge of UK/EU financial regulations and regulatory change management
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives, core banking systems, or data programs
- Strong understanding of design thinking and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in requirements workshops, business process modeling, and business case documentation
- Experience managing projects from inception through to delivery
- Solid IT background with familiarity in technology solutions
- Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement skills
Responsibilities
- Engage with business users to understand problem statements and define project scope
- Interview product owners to analyze current ("as-is") business processes and develop future ("to-be") processes aligned with customer needs
- Document process models and identify opportunities for operational improvement and digitization
- Map customer experiences using personas, customer journeys, and related tools
- Gather and analyze statistical data to support business cases for change initiatives
- Research industry best practices to support process digitization and customer journey simplification
- Assist in planning and designing digital strategies aimed at enhancing customer retention and loyalty
- Bring industry insights and thought leadership to advise on emerging trends and future operating models
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business context and marketplace dynamics
- Employ process modeling techniques to capture detailed requirements and work collaboratively with product and development teams
- Write clear, actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for multiple product owners
- Support a metrics-driven culture by defining KPIs and tracking project success
