About The Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute Senior Principal Business Analyst to join our Growth Analytics organization. In this pivotal role, you will focus on enhancing King’s understanding, modeling, and scaling of growth initiatives. Sitting at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Finance, Analytics, and game teams, you will address some of the most critical commercial questions facing the business. Your expertise will help translate marketing investments into tangible outcomes such as player growth, revenue, and profitability, while also guiding strategic decision-making for sustainable expansion. The role requires an independent thinker capable of operating in ambiguous environments, bringing structure to complex questions, and influencing senior stakeholders through insightful analysis, commercial judgment, and effective communication.

Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Economics, Business, Data Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in business analysis, growth modeling, or analytics within a digital or gaming environment
- Strong understanding of marketing investment models, elasticity, response curves, and scenario planning
- Expertise in forecasting, investment governance, and portfolio trade-off analysis
- Technical proficiency with SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis tools
- Experience working with large datasets and analytical workflows
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Analytics teams
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and influence senior stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Define and establish the commercial logic behind growth decisions, creating frameworks to interpret performance and evaluate investment opportunities
- Enhance the interpretation and application of growth models across the organization
- Shape forecasting processes, elasticity analysis, and investment governance to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Provide structured analysis for portfolio-level growth trade-offs across different games, channels, and geographies
- Connect marketing performance with product outcomes, player behavior, monetization, and retention metrics
- Transform complex analytical outputs into strategic recommendations for senior executives
- Mentor and influence teams across Growth Analytics, promoting best practices in commercial reasoning and data interpretation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align growth strategies with broader business objectives
- Continuously challenge assumptions and improve analytical workflows to support sustainable growth initiatives
