About The Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially savvy Senior Principal Business Analyst to join our Growth Analytics organization. This critical role focuses on enhancing King’s understanding of growth dynamics, modeling, and strategic scaling. Sitting at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Finance, Analytics, and Game teams, the successful candidate will address key commercial questions, such as how marketing investments influence player acquisition, revenue, profitability, and long-term company performance. The Senior Principal Business Analyst will be instrumental in shaping the analytical and commercial thinking behind major growth initiatives, ensuring that models and insights translate into actionable strategies. This role requires an independent, strategic thinker capable of operating effectively in ambiguous environments, influencing senior stakeholders through deep analytical expertise, sound commercial judgment, and clear communication. The candidate will define frameworks for interpreting growth performance, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive better investment governance, ultimately supporting sustainable growth and strategic decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role with a focus on growth analytics
- Strong understanding of marketing, product, and financial metrics in a digital or gaming environment
- Expertise in elasticity, scenario modeling, and investment planning
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical tools and workflows
- Experience working with large datasets and data modeling platforms such as BigQuery, Looker, or Airflow
- Exceptional analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders effectively
- Experience in gaming, mobile apps, digital entertainment, or high-scale consumer businesses is a plus
- Knowledge of attribution models, response curves, and forecasting frameworks is desirable
Responsibilities
- Define and establish the commercial logic and frameworks used to interpret growth performance and evaluate investment opportunities
- Enhance the interpretation and application of growth models across various teams and projects
- Shape forecasting processes, elasticity analysis, and investment governance to improve accuracy and consistency
- Guide portfolio-level decision-making by structuring complex trade-offs across games, channels, geographies, and marketing initiatives
- Connect marketing performance metrics with product outcomes, player behavior, monetization, and retention strategies
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Analytics teams to align strategies and share insights
- Mentor and coach team members on commercial reasoning, modeling best practices, and effective communication
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative analytical solutions to support sustainable growth
