About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Banking Advisory Practice. In this role, you will work on a diverse range of projects and programs, primarily focusing on digital transformation and strategic change initiatives within banking institutions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and delivery of projects for our banking clients. You will engage closely with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze current processes, and develop innovative, customer-centric solutions. Your expertise will support the design and implementation of digital strategies that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and foster customer retention and loyalty. This role offers an exciting opportunity to bring industry best practices, thought leadership, and technical insights to complex banking projects, helping clients navigate the evolving financial landscape effectively.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector
- Proven experience working on-site with UK-based banking clients, preferably in London
- Deep knowledge of UK/EU financial regulations and regulatory change management
- Experience with digital transformation, core banking systems, or data programs
- Strong understanding of design thinking methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in documenting business cases, process modeling, and requirements elicitation
- Ability to manage projects from inception through delivery lifecycle
- Solid IT background with a good understanding of technology solutions
- Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall SDLC frameworks
- Proven ability to facilitate requirements workshops and drive decision-making processes
Responsibilities
- Engage with business users to understand problem statements and define project scope
- Interview product owners to analyze current business processes and develop future-state models
- Document process models and identify opportunities for process improvements and digitization
- Map customer experience using tools such as personas and customer journey maps
- Gather and analyze statistical data to support business cases for change initiatives
- Research industry best practices and innovative solutions to enhance customer journeys
- Support the planning and design of digital strategies aimed at increasing customer retention and loyalty
- Bring industry insights and thought leadership to advise on future operating models and trends
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business environment and marketplace dynamics
- Employ process modeling techniques to capture detailed requirements and workflows
- Collaborate with product owners and development teams to implement process improvements
- Write and refine epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for agile delivery teams
- Contribute to a metrics-driven culture by defining KPIs and tracking project success
