Salary: circa £53,000 (advertised salary achievable for a candidate fulfilling all role criteria)

About the Role:
- Independently elicit, analyse and document business and customer problems, needs, constraints and desired outcomes, working with the (Technical) Product Manager and Product Owners and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders and delivery teams to explore problems, challenge assumptions and help identify appropriate solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear, well-defined and deliverable requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering and QA throughout delivery, refining and clarifying requirements as understanding develops.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation, helping to break larger requirements into smaller, manageable pieces of work that can deliver value incrementally.
- Use data, customer insight and feedback to support decision-making and assess whether delivered solutions are meeting the intended need.
- Develop an understanding of product strategy, priorities and Product Ownership, progressively taking greater ownership of product activities.

About You
- Proven Business Analysis experience within a software, SaaS or digital product environment, with strong requirements elicitation, analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong working knowledge of modern software development practices and Agile/product delivery environments.
- Ability to translate complex needs into clear, structured and deliverable requirements or user stories.
- Curious and comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions and exploring different approaches.
- Good customer and commercial awareness, with an interest in understanding the value and outcomes a product needs to deliver.
- Able to work independently as the analysis specialist while collaborating effectively and influencing across Product, Engineering, QA and other stakeholders without formal authority.
- Experience with the challenges associated with complex, regulated or API-first products.
