Job Role: Business Analyst / Technical Analyst (BA/TA) - AI
Contract Duration: 6 months
Location: London / Sheffield (Hybrid - 3 days on site)
Daily Rate: Inside IR35
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst / Technical Analyst to collaborate with Cyber, Security Operations Center (SOC), and Technology teams in shaping and delivering AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities. The role involves translating complex operational challenges into clear, actionable requirements, defining success criteria, and ensuring that solutions are user-friendly, well-controlled, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with Cyber, SOC, and Technology stakeholders to understand operational problems and identify AI-driven solutions.
- Translate business and operational needs into detailed, clear, and testable requirements.
- Define success measures and key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities.
- Work closely with development and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and compliance standards.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of AI solutions to ensure usability and control.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to maintain alignment.
- Document processes, requirements, and outcomes to support governance and audit needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst, preferably in cybersecurity or AI-related projects.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, SOC functions, and technology environments.
- Ability to translate complex operational issues into clear, actionable requirements.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with requirements management and documentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks relevant to cybersecurity and AI.
- Understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
Soft Skills:
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Additional Information:
- This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite in London or Sheffield.
- The contract is inside IR35.
