Technical Business Analyst at Delta Capita Distributed Ledger Services (DC DLS)
As a Technical Business Analyst at Delta Capita Distributed Ledger Services (DC DLS), you will act as the critical bridge between our product, engineering, and client delivery teams. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and documenting complex technical requirements across both internal product initiatives and client delivery projects. Your work will directly influence the quality and clarity of our development pipeline, ensuring our distributed ledger platform meets client needs and adheres to strategic roadmap goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Client Delivery Leads, and SMEs to gather and refine detailed business and technical requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements are well understood and correctly implemented.
- Support backlog refinement and sprint planning by breaking down epics and features into actionable stories.
- Liaise with client stakeholders to capture solution requirements and validate deliverables.
- Support the SDLC lifecycle by ensuring traceability between scope, requirements, and delivered functionality.
- Participate in design authority and change control processes to assess requirement changes and design risks.
- Drive process improvement initiatives around requirements management, documentation, and traceability.
- Act as a subject matter expert on specific components of the DLS platform and technical workflows.

Requirements
As an experienced Business Analyst, you will have:
- Experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role in a technology-driven organisation.
- Strong understanding of software development practices, particularly Agile and Scrum.
- Proficiency in writing technical documentation, including user stories, process flows, and data models.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively across business and technical audiences.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams delivering complex technology platforms.
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and requirements management tools.
- Comfortable facilitating workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions.
Desirable
- Experience working on blockchain or distributed ledger technology (DLT) platforms.
- Financial services industry knowledge, especially in capital markets or post-trade processing.
- Familiarity with data modelling and interface specification (e.g. JSON, API specs).
- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks or design governance processes.
