About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Elicit requirements through workshops, interviews, process mapping, and data analysis.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Support solution design by ensuring business requirements are accurately interpreted.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered solutions against business expectations.
- Assist with change management, stakeholder communication, and user training where required.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent documentation skills, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows.
- Experience facilitating workshops and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as BCS Business Analysis, IIBA (ECBA/CCBA/CBAP), or PMI-PBA are desirable.
- Experience working in financial services, retail, healthcare, insurance, telecommunications, or public sector environments is advantageous.
