Project Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Avaloq core banking platform to join our Change & Transformation team. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives across our Banking and Wealth Management divisions. You will work closely with front-office, operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into clear requirements and support the configuration and enhancement of Avaloq-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across Wealth Management, Private Banking, and Operations functions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the Avaloq core banking system, advising on platform capabilities, configuration options, and best practices.
  • Produce high-quality business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process maps, and user stories.
  • Work with Avaloq's Business Rule Framework, Script Language, and Reporting tools to define and validate solution designs.
  • Liaise with Avaloq vendor teams and internal developers to ensure requirements are correctly implemented.
  • Support system testing, including test case design, UAT coordination, and defect triage.
  • Analyze current-state processes (as-is) and design improved future-state processes (to-be), identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Support regulatory and compliance-driven change initiatives (e.g. MiFID II, SM&CR, Consumer Duty) within the Avaloq environment.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement walkthroughs.
  • Produce clear documentation and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support project managers with planning, RAID logs, and status reporting as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
