Join HMRC as a Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in supporting our digital transformation, helping to shape, and validate the business needs. You will ensure that requirements are clear, agreed, and aligned across complex stakeholder groups, supporting the programme to deliver a coherent, scalable, and customer-centred digital solution.

This role combines technical awareness with stakeholder management, requiring strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for varied audiences across the organisation.

We require a Business Analyst to map out the as-is process for the following across Chief Digital Product Office and Chief Digital Engineering Office engineering teams:

Essential Criteria

  • Experience of working as a business analyst in a complex IT landscape.

  • You will need experience of:

    • Identify and define business problems and opportunities through evidence-based analysis
    • Engage with stakeholders to gather, validate, and document requirements
    • Facilitate workshops and interviews to support analysis activities
    • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
