Business Analyst - Wealth Management

About the Team:

The company is a Bristol headquartered leading Financial Advisor with strong performance and future growth plans through increased M&A activity. The role is Bristol based and 3 days in office.

The role will sit in a small Change Management team reporting to a very experienced leader. The team is cross functional with significant interaction including senior stakeholders with a key focus on designing and delivering technology enabled journeys for Financial Advisors and their clients, end to end.

You will join as a Business Analyst in a hands on capacity with a specific focus on the Financial Advisor journey.

Example Responsibilities:

  • Map current and future journeys, identify pain points and design better adviser and client experiences.
  • Lead discovery sessions via workshops, interviews and shadowing sessions with stakeholders
  • Translate requirements into a clear delivery plan by producing user stories, process maps, data flows project exit criteria.
  • Support technology enabled change with a focus on adoption
  • Drive strong governance in line with external regulation and internal controls.

Required Experience:

  • Several years experience in the UK Financial Services industry. There is a strong preference for someone within Financial Advisor, Wealth Management or Asset Management with an understanding of the end to end Financial Advisor journey
  • Strong experience in B2C business that is heavily focused on client onboarding and client Experience
  • Evidence of having genuine empathy and a curiosity in how to improve Advisor or Investment teams experience with technology
  • A strong Business Analyst skill set with exposure to change management, process mapping, stakeholder management and process improvement
  • Excellent soft skills in communication, problem solving and solution creation
  • A genuine interest and confidence in emerging technology as well as core understanding of reporting focused systems including CRMs, workflow and client portal systems as well as data tools such as PowerBI. Exposure to the Microsoft 365 stack as well as Copilot would be beneficial
  • Relevant qualification in the project and change space would be desirable
