With a strong focus on growth and transformation, this established energy provider is looking for a commercially minded Business Analyst to drive smarter, leaner ways of working across a variety of business projects. This is a hands-on role with real impact — helping to shape future processes and optimise delivery across the board.
Role Overview:
- Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid)

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading on the discovery, analysis and documentation of business requirements for new initiatives
- Running workshops, interviews and stakeholder sessions to uncover root causes and align on needs
- Mapping current processes and re-designing improved workflows to drive efficiency and automation
- Producing clear business cases, risk assessments and cost/benefit analysis to support decision-making
- Supporting end-to-end project delivery, working closely with PMs, developers and testing teams
- Managing budgets, tracking progress and identifying and resolving risks or blockers
- Ensuring all change is clearly documented, communicated and aligned with strategic goals
- Taking ownership of meetings and outputs — from agendas and actions to stakeholder follow-ups

Main Skills Needed:
- 4+ years in a Business Analyst role within structured project environments
- Strong process modelling and requirements documentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience delivering change in fast-paced, high-pressure settings
- Confident in cost/benefit analysis, impact assessments and business case development
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, DevOps or Trello
- Comfortable working autonomously with a proactive, delivery-focused mindset
- Experience in the utilities or energy sector is a bonus
