About The Role

Qualifications
- Minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Mathematics
- Relevant higher education qualification or previous experience in law enforcement, public service, or administrative roles is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to upholding the values of Police Scotland
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of community policing initiatives to foster positive relationships and address local concerns
- Support operational activities by gathering intelligence, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records
- Respond to public inquiries and provide information about police services and procedures
- Participate in investigations by collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and supporting officers in case management
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, health and safety regulations, and legal standards
- Contribute to the development and implementation of community engagement programs
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events and community outreach activities
