We are hiring a Business Analyst to join a high-performing consulting team delivering complex, high-impact projects for leading private equity firms.
Working in a UK Private Equity business is essential - You need experience in iLevel!
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational and data challenges, working closely with senior stakeholders, and producing clear, high-quality analysis and deliverables.
You will gain exposure to a wide range of private equity operating models, transformation programmes, and data initiatives—while being supported with structured learning, development, and career progression opportunities.
The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will provide analysis, process mapping, problem-solving, and project support across multiple client engagements. You will work with senior consultants to understand client requirements, propose solutions, document processes, and present findings to stakeholders.
You’ll also contribute to project planning, prioritisation, and coordination of tasks across the team. As you grow in the role, you will begin taking on responsibilities from the engagement lead, including elements of resource forecasting, issue resolution, and budget oversight.

What You’ll Do
- Work directly with private equity clients to analyse processes, data, and operational challenges.
- Document current and future-state processes, producing high-quality deliverables for senior stakeholders.
- Lead or support client meetings, presenting findings and proposed solutions.
- Create and manage project plans, ensuring tasks are prioritised and assigned appropriately.
- Own business requirements, specifications, prototypes, and testing activities.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including risks, issues, actions, and meeting notes.
- Delegate tasks to junior analysts or interns when appropriate, setting clear expectations.
- Support project management tasks such as updates to the engagement lead, resourcing input, and forecasting.
- Prepare materials for senior stakeholder meetings, including Steering Committees.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and analyst forums.
- Work across multiple client engagements simultaneously, managing your time effectively.
- Use the Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) to produce polished, client-ready materials.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience or strong interest in private equity operations (essential).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to understand complex processes and translate them into clear documentation.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
- Ability to work across several projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative and supportive team player with a desire to mentor others.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS tools (Visio desirable).
- Understanding of data concepts (SQL, DAX, Power BI) is advantageous but not essential.
