Job Title: Business Analyst
Salary: £55k + 5% Pension + Benefits
Location: Remote
Clearance: BPSS
Stages: 1 Stage

Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse and document business requirements through workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement.
- Produce clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Map current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") business processes.
- Analyse existing services and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams throughout the delivery life cycle.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation with Product Owners.
- Facilitate discovery, Alpha, beta and live phases in accordance with the Government Digital Service (GDS) framework.
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments.
- Identify business risks, assumptions and dependencies.
- Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into deliverable solutions.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business readiness activities.
- Maintain traceability between business requirements, user stories and delivered functionality.
- Produce high-quality documentation including:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Specifications
- Process Maps
- Options Appraisals
- Stakeholder Analysis
- Benefits Realisation Plans

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Agile delivery teams.
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience facilitating workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
- Excellent process mapping skills using BPMN or similar techniques.
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Ability to perform business process analysis and service improvement.
- Experience managing conflicting priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
