Location: Remote (occasional travel, approximately 1-2 days per month)

Maxwell Bond is partnered with an innovative technology business that is transforming how organisations manage buildings, assets, and energy consumption through data-driven software and automation. Operating within the sustainability and smart buildings sector, the company is experiencing significant growth and is looking to appoint a Business Analyst to join their technology team and play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative software solutions.
The Role
As a Business Analyst, you'll be a key contributor within an Agile/Scrum development environment, working closely with customers, technology teams, and senior stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into valuable, practical solutions.

You'll play an important role across discovery, analysis, and delivery, helping teams navigate complex requirements while ensuring the solutions being developed genuinely address customer and business needs.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead discovery, storyboarding, prototyping, and business analysis activities
- Gather and translate business and technical requirements into clear user stories and specifications
- Work with senior stakeholders to align priorities and resolve conflicting requirements
- Collaborate with Development and QA teams to assess and validate solutions
- Analyse project data across user stories, interfaces, data mapping, UI, and reporting
- Support Agile best practice and represent customer needs throughout delivery
- Travel to UK and international offices when required
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst, ideally within enterprise software or SaaS
- Strong understanding and practical experience of Agile methodologies
- Proven ability to analyse and translate complex business and technical requirements
- Experience managing conflicting stakeholder requirements and building consensus
- Working knowledge of SQL and database management
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working autonomously
- Familiarity with HTML, XML, SOAP APIs, and UX Design
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience

Nice to Have
- Experience with IoT / connected devices
- Knowledge of relational databases, XML, or programming languages
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Background in SaaS, sustainability technology, building automation, or retail technology
