About The Role

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant qualification in engineering, environmental science, or a related field. Previous experience in water utility operations, infrastructure management, or a similar industry is preferred. Strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and a good understanding of health and safety regulations are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are also required. A proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement will set candidates apart.

Responsibilities

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the maintenance and operation of water treatment and distribution systems
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards
  • Supporting the implementation of new infrastructure projects
  • Diagnosing and resolving operational issues promptly
  • Maintaining accurate records of system performance
  • Coordinating with contractors and internal teams to execute maintenance schedules
  • Participating in risk assessments
  • Contributing to the development of strategies that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies
