The postholder will support the planning, specification, development and delivery of digital transformation projects across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and partner organisations. Working closely with clinical, operational and technical stakeholders, the role will contribute to the implementation of innovative digital solutions that improve patient care, enhance service delivery and support NHSGGC's ambitious Digital Strategy, including digital nursing documentation, citizen access services and the implementation of new community systems. The postholder will provide business analysis and project management expertise, ensuring projects deliver measurable benefits, align with organisational and national priorities, and support the ongoing modernisation of health and social care services.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

  • Permanent - 36hrs
  • Smithhills Street, Paisley

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating workshops, conducting business process mapping and redesign, supporting system appraisal and testing activities, and producing project documentation and reports. The role will also involve planning and coordinating multiple interdependent projects, monitoring progress, managing risks and dependencies, supporting change management and benefits realisation activities, and ensuring solutions align with organisational objectives and Scottish Government priorities. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative clinical and non-clinical digital solutions, helping to improve patient care, operational efficiency and service transformation across health and social care.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot can be great for planning and preparing your application, but your answers must be your own.

Show us the real you: Your application should reflect your skills, experience, and motivations authentically. Use AI wisely: It’s fine to use AI for ideas or to check spelling and grammar, but don’t let it write your answers. Why this matters: Applications that rely on AI-generated content may be withdrawn. By applying, you confirm your responses are based on your own knowledge and achievements.
