We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for the position of Business Analytics Intern. This remote internship is designed for motivated students and recent graduates who are passionate about using data to solve business challenges and support strategic decision-making.

Role Overview
As a Business Analytics Intern, you will support business teams by analysing data, identifying trends, preparing reports, and helping transform business requirements into meaningful insights. You will gain experience using industry-standard analytics tools while developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organise, and analyse business data from multiple sources.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Assist in creating dashboards, reports, and business presentations.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Support forecasting, business planning, and performance monitoring activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Develop and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of business data.
- Document findings and present insights to project teams.
- Stay up to date with current business analytics tools and industry best practices.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in business Analytics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in business analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote environment.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Understanding of business processes and performance metrics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and analytical techniques.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Charts).
- SQL for reporting and data extraction.
- Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Dashboard development and business reporting.
- Data visualisation and storytelling.
- Business process analysis.
- Statistical analysis.
- Python or R for data analysis (preferred).
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
