Business Analytics – UK
Location: United Kingdom
Work Arrangement: Remote
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Business Analytics role focused on transforming business data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using relevant analytics tools.
- Gather, clean, validate, and interpret data from multiple business sources.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to support business performance monitoring.
- Conduct exploratory and descriptive analysis to identify key business insights.
- Track and analyse key performance indicators and business metrics.
- Support forecasting, performance analysis, and data-driven planning activities.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and analytical outputs.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with structured datasets.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of business intelligence, reporting, and performance analysis concepts.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Good understanding of business processes and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Experience working with CRM, ERP, or other business systems.
- Ability to develop meaningful dashboards and translate business requirements into actionable insights.
