Business Analytics – UK

Location: United Kingdom

Work Arrangement: Remote


We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Business Analytics role focused on transforming business data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using relevant analytics tools.
  • Gather, clean, validate, and interpret data from multiple business sources.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to support business performance monitoring.
  • Conduct exploratory and descriptive analysis to identify key business insights.
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators and business metrics.
  • Support forecasting, performance analysis, and data-driven planning activities.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and analytical outputs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience working with structured datasets.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Understanding of business intelligence, reporting, and performance analysis concepts.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Good understanding of business processes and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, or other business systems.
  • Ability to develop meaningful dashboards and translate business requirements into actionable insights.
