Business Analytics Internship – Remote | United Kingdom
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a motivated and analytical Business Analytics Intern to join their team remotely in the United Kingdom. This opportunity is designed for candidates who are looking to develop practical experience in business analysis, data interpretation, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on business-related projects, analyse data, identify trends, and support teams in transforming information into meaningful insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organise, clean, and analyse business data from multiple sources.
- Identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement through data analysis.
- Assist in preparing business reports, dashboards, presentations, and performance summaries.
- Support the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other business metrics.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide analytical support.
- Translate business requirements into structured reports, insights, and actionable recommendations.
- Assist in analysing operational, financial, customer, or market-related data.
- Create and maintain dashboards and visualisations using relevant analytical and business intelligence tools.
- Support data validation and ensure the accuracy and consistency of reports and analytical outputs.
- Present findings in a clear and understandable manner to support business decision-making.
- Participate in meetings, project discussions, and collaborative problem-solving activities.
- Assist in documenting business processes, analytical findings, and project outcomes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, analytical tools, and best practices in business analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Business Analytics, Data Analytics, and business intelligence concepts.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, data organisation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with SQL and databases will be an advantage.
- Knowledge or exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualisation tools is preferred.
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts and data interpretation.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful insights.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting project deadlines.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and interest in developing a career in Business Analytics.
