KPay Group

KPay Group (“KPay”) is a leading fintech company committed to empowering businesses of all sizes through simple, seamless, smart and secure technology solutions. Serving more than 89,000 merchants across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore, KPay helps unlock growth potential by building a one-stop platform for financial management, business operations, and digital transformation.

In 2024, KPay raised a record-breaking USD 55 million in its Series A funding round - the largest globally in the payments sector that year. The company has since been recognised as PayTech of the Year at the 2025 Asia FinTech Awards, selected on Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch list in 2025 and ranked among the Singapore's Top FinTech Companies 2026 list, curated by Tech in Asia and Statista.

Help us turn data into decisions.

KPay is expanding into the UK, and we're looking for a curious, analytical and commercially minded Business Analytics Intern to join our expansion team.

This isn't an internship where you'll spend your time building reports that sit in a folder. You'll work with real data, real business problems and real decisions that shape how we enter and grow in the UK market. You'll help us understand where the biggest opportunities are, what is driving performance, and where we should focus our resources next.

This role will be based either in London or Manchester.

What You'll Work On

You could find yourself:

  • Building launch dashboards — tracking the metrics that tell us whether we're gaining traction and where we're falling short.
  • Analysing the sales funnel — understanding conversion at every stage, from lead generation to merchant acquisition.
  • Sizing the market — estimating opportunities across UK cities, industries and merchant segments.
  • Conducting commercial analysis — analysing pricing, unit economics, customer acquisition costs and potential merchant value.
  • Finding patterns — identifying why certain merchants, products, channels or locations perform better than others.
  • Forecasting — helping us model transaction volumes, merchant growth and operational requirements.
  • Turning analysis into action — presenting your findings and recommendations directly to the UK expansion team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Analytical — numbers make you curious, not nervous.
  • Commercially minded — you care about what the numbers mean for the business, not just getting the calculation right.
  • Structured — able to break an ambiguous question into a clear, measurable problem.
  • Detail-oriented — you spot when numbers don't make sense and aren't afraid to investigate why.
  • Curious and proactive — willing to ask questions, challenge assumptions and find answers independently.
  • Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets — experience with SQL, Python, Power BI or Tableau is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • A clear communicator — able to explain a complex insight simply and make a recommendation without hiding behind a complicated model.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment — able to adapt when priorities change and information is incomplete.

Eligibility

  • Current student or recent graduate from any academic discipline.
  • Right to work in the UK, or eligible to undertake the internship through a university placement arrangement.
  • Strong interest in business, analytics, fintech, market expansion or commercial strategy.

How to Apply

Send us your CV and a few lines telling us what you'd be most excited to work on or build with us. Don't overthink it — we're looking for curiosity, energy and how you think. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a case study assignment as part of the selection process.
