Fixed Term Contract - approx. 12 months - Full-time

Are you passionate about transforming data into meaningful business insights? Rontec is looking for an analytical professional to join our team and play a key role in shaping sales performance through data-led decision-making.

About the Role

As Business Analytics Manager, you will play a key role in shaping sales performance through data-led decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, turning complex data into actionable strategies, measurable KPIs, and commercial opportunities that drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and enhance the customer experience.

What we’re looking for:

An individual, with commercial analytics experience, ideally gained within a retail, convenience or similar customer-focused environment with a demonstrable history of developing successful sales’ development plans. This will include detailed and demonstrable awareness of convenience store metrics including the impacts of promotions and loyalty schemes as well as planograms, inventory, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver insightful reporting that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Analyse sales and business performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Create KPI-driven action plans that align with business objectives and revenue growth targets.
  • Produce regular performance dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide data-led recommendations and solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators, ensuring actions are tracked and outcomes measured.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and business efficiency.
  • Support the development of a data-driven culture by promoting the effective use of analytics across the business.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance customer experience, increase profitability, and support long-term business growth.

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge and use of BI visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) preferably with experience of the Blaze AI tool.
  • Experience presenting complex data and recommendations to senior stakeholders and executive audiences in translating data into clear strategic insights and actionable recommendations that support informed business decisions.
  • Lead and mentor a team to create a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement.
  • Focus internal analytics activity on sales growth.
  • Understand and develop the company’s data structure and reporting.
