Job description

We are recruiting a qualified (degree plus PGCE), experienced, online Business and Economics Teacher who is able to deliver creative and engaging lessons online, preparing students for the Pearson Edexcel International GCSE and A Level qualifications. Starting 4th September 2026.

You will be a caring and supportive teacher who is able to deliver creative and engaging lessons online that inspire and motivate students. A qualified and experienced educator with a proven track record and passion for your subject specialism.

  • Plan for and deliver creative, engaging online lessons, accessed via Elea High’s online learning platform
  • Maintain formative and summative assessment data and provide regular feedback to students and parents through the LMS
  • Employ suitable pedagogies suited to the student and learning objectives and maintain pace, engagement and appropriate behaviour when delivering sessions.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding, data privacy and security guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification (essential) and relevant subject specialist degree
  • Experience of teaching Pearson Edexcel qualifications
  • Excellent IT skills and previous experience of teaching online
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High expectations of students
