QTS Business Studies and Maths Tutor: South East London: GBP40 per Hour

Are you a qualified teacher looking for a flexible tutoring opportunity alongside your existing commitments?

Reeson Education is currently looking for an experienced and engaging QTS Tutor to provide 1:1 Business Studies and Maths tuition within a school setting in South East London.

This would be a great opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys working with students on an individual basis and is confident adapting their teaching to suit a young person's individual learning needs.

The Role

  • 1:1 Business Studies and Maths tuition
  • Every Thursday
  • 2 hours per week
  • School-based tuition
  • South East London
  • GBP40 per hour
  • Ongoing tuition
  • Support with both Business Studies and Maths

We Are Looking For a Tutor Who

  • Holds UK QTS
  • Has experience teaching Business Studies and Maths
  • Is confident delivering engaging 1:1 tuition
  • Can adapt lessons and resources to the student's individual level and learning needs
  • Is able to build a positive and professional relationship with the student
  • Can plan and deliver structured sessions with clear learning objectives
  • Is reliable, consistent and able to commit to the weekly Thursday session
  • Has a strong understanding of supporting students working towards formal qualifications

The successful tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering individualized tuition, adapting resources where required and supporting the student to develop their subject knowledge, confidence and academic progress.

You will also be expected to maintain accurate attendance records and provide regular feedback following tuition sessions to help monitor the student's engagement and progress.
