Role Description
The Business Application Analyst is a full-time role responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing business applications used across the City of London Corporation. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves resolving application issues, providing technical support to users, coordinating with IT and business teams on system changes, and assisting with testing, deployment, and training. The analyst will help ensure that applications align with organizational policies, data standards, and regulatory requirements, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hybrid role based in the City of London, with a mix of on-site work and some work from home.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop practical solutions.
- Experience in Business Analysis and Business Process improvement, including requirements gathering and workflow documentation.
- Knowledge of Information Technology concepts and enterprise applications, with the ability to liaise effectively between business and IT teams.
- Background in Technical Support, including troubleshooting application issues and assisting end users with system functionality.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with public sector or local government environments and an understanding of governance, data protection, and compliance requirements is beneficial.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with project work, including participation in system upgrades, implementations, or process change initiatives.
