Business Applications Sales Manager
Remote or Hybrid | Full Time
Our client is a growing Microsoft Solutions Partner delivering ERP solutions to clients across a range of sectors. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Business Applications Sales Manager to own the sales strategy for the practice, combining new business development with growth of the existing client base.
The role
Reporting to the Sales Director, you'll build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects across target sectors, working closely with marketing, pre-sales consultants, and delivery teams to shape proposals that are both technically credible and commercially compelling. You'll lead the end-to-end sales process from discovery through to proposal, negotiation, and close, converting client operational and finance pain points into compelling commercial proposals for ERP, integration, and managed support services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Alongside new business, you'll manage relationships with the existing client base, running regular account reviews to uncover expansion opportunities across licenses, modules, and managed services. You'll act as an internal authority on the proposition, keeping pace with product roadmap, licensing changes, and competitor positioning, and may support the development of junior sales colleagues as the practice grows.
What they're looking for
Proven experience selling ERP solutions is essential, ideally gained within a Microsoft Partner or MSP environment. You'll need a strong track record of building pipeline, running a consultative sales process, and closing new business, along with genuine commercial acumen around margin, pricing, and deliverability.
