Role Overview
We’re looking for a Business Applications Support Analyst to support and improve the business-critical applications, integrations, automations, and reporting processes used across Reiss. Working closely with colleagues across IT and the wider business, you’ll monitor daily processes, investigate issues, maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure our systems and data flows remain reliable and effective.
With a focus on proactive and reactive application support, you’ll take ownership of incidents through to resolution, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, and contribute to small changes that improve efficiency and productivity.
This role requires flexibility to work in a varied shift pattern, with earlier starts, later finishes, and weekend work as agreed by a rota within the team.
Who You Are
- Strong, current experience supporting retail IT business systems, with a good understanding of the needs of a highly integrated, multi-channel retail environment.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate, alongside proven experience developing, maintaining, and supporting automated business workflows and processes.
- Confidence working with datasets of different sizes, including data handling, manipulation, and correction.
- A strong understanding of workflow automation, system integrations, and process improvement, with the ability to support and monitor API integrations, plus experience working with SaaS solutions, user access, and data pipelines. Exposure to Google BigQuery, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or retail, merchandising, finance, and warehouse systems would be advantageous.
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot, PowerShell, Postman, or similar tools to support productivity, solution development, and automated tasks would be desirable.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach to supporting both technical and non-technical users.
- A collaborative, proactive approach, with the ability to learn independently, take ownership, meet deadlines, and know when to escalate an issue.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
