Business Applications Manager

West London | Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)
£100k - £120k

A successful and fast-growing PE backed events business is seeking an experienced Business Applications Manager to lead the strategy, development, integration, and support of its core enterprise applications landscape.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for a portfolio of business-critical platforms, where you'll partner closely with technology and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, drive continuous improvement, and shape the future applications roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of enterprise business applications.
  • Lead the delivery of application enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and transformation projects.
  • Manage relationships with business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Oversee application support, service performance, releases, security, and compliance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing applications team while driving best practice across development and delivery.

Technical Experience Required

  • Strong experience leading enterprise applications teams within a complex business environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of C#/.NET application development and software delivery practices.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce, including administration, configuration, and platform enhancement.
  • Experience supporting and integrating Workday across HR, Finance, and business processes.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration architectures, APIs, middleware, data flows, and application interoperability.
  • Experience delivering cloud-based applications and enterprise-scale business systems.
  • Familiarity with modern development methodologies, release management, and application governance.
  • Knowledge of Azure integration services, ETL processes, data migration, and automation tools would be advantageous.
