Sheffield HQ (Hybrid 2 to 3 days office based | Salary to £55,000 + Benefits
Experis IT are actively pursuing a Business Central Application Lead or Business Central Consultant seeking an in-house role, D365 or Business Applications Specialist with strong BC expertise and Power Platform exposure.
As the Business Applications Lead, you will own, support and continuously improve the Business Central Microsoft Dynamics 365 and associated business systems for the group.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the discovery, upgrade and enhancement of the current Business Central Dynamics platform.
- Investigate and create a more robust & resilient Business Central & Dynamics landscape.
- Offer proactive support and maintenance of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Offer BAU support, Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line application support and drive issue resolution.
- Support and enhance Power Apps, Power BI and wider Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
- Support & enhance the HRIS, ATS, LMS, expenses and other core business platforms.
- Partner with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve processes.
- Manage vendors, upgrades, testing, deployments and system improvements.
- Train and engage users to maximise application adoption and value.

What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central in an end-user environment.
- Proven post-implementation support, stabilisation and continuous improvement expertise.
- Knowledge of business processes across finance, operations or supply chain.
- Experience supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central in a BAU setting.
- Familiarity with PowerApps and Power BI.
- Power Apps and Power BI exposure.
- Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proactive, independent and confident challenging suppliers when required.
- Understanding business processes in finance, operations, or supply chain.
- Strong problem-solving ability and customer service mindset.
- Clear and confident communication skills.

Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and CE modules
- CE, Power Automate
- SQL/data querying, manufacturing, distribution or professional services background.
- Experience with Power Automate
- Service Management or ITIL experience
- Basic SQL or data querying knowledge
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, or professional services
- ITIL
