AEM Living brings together three distinctive retirement living brands Audley Villages, Mayfield Villages and Elysian Residences, united by a shared commitment to quality, service and exceptional living.
As our business continues to grow and evolve, technology has an increasingly important role to play in how our teams work and the experience we deliver.
We’re looking for a hands-on Business Applications Manager to take ownership of the core applications used across AEM Living and help us get even more from our systems, data and emerging technology.
The Role
Reporting to the Group IT Director, you’ll be the central point of expertise for our business applications, working with teams across AEM Living to understand what they need and translating this into practical system solutions.
You’ll own the day-to-day administration, configuration and continuous improvement of systems including our in-house CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP Concur, Lightyear and Cubigo.
This isn’t simply a support role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail; configuring systems, solving problems, improving workflows and undertaking light development and automation to make our applications work better for the people using them.
We’ve also introduced Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude across the business, so you’ll have the opportunity to explore how AI can be practically and safely applied to improve processes, administration and the way we use our business applications.

- Own, administer and configure our core business applications.
- Act as the key point of contact for application queries, troubleshooting issues and managing vendor escalations.
- Undertake light development, scripting, workflow automation and system customisation.
- Work with departments across AEM Living to understand requirements and develop practical system solutions.
- Manage user access, permissions and system administration.
- Support new applications, integrations, upgrades and projects, including our ongoing business integration activity.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and automate manual tasks.
- Use tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude to support administration, documentation and process improvement.
- Support reporting and dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric where appropriate.
- Build strong relationships with application vendors and manage support, upgrades and roadmap discussions.
- Provide guidance and training to help colleagues use our systems confidently and effectively.
About You
You’ll have experience supporting or administering business applications within a multi-department organisation and be comfortable taking ownership of systems from both a technical and user perspective.
We’d particularly like to hear from you if you have:
- Experience administering CRM or other cloud-based business systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365; exposure to SAP Concur, Lightyear, Cubigo or similar platforms would be advantageous.
- The ability to undertake light development, scripting, low-code/no-code configuration or workflow automation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing users, permissions and system data.
- Exposure to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric would be beneficial.
- An interest in AI and experience using tools such as Copilot or Claude to improve the way you work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to make technical concepts understandable to non-technical colleagues.
- A proactive, organised and improvement-focused approach.

Experience within retirement living, care, hospitality, property or another regulated environment would be useful, but isn't essential.
